About Opika

Dubrynich Summer Camp
The Charitable Foundation “Opika” (Guardian) was founded in 2000 by a group of teaching professionals. The organization’s main mission is to support orphaned children, residents and graduates of boarding schools, as well as, children living in poor and difficult family situations in the Perechyn district.

The focus areas include:
  • Protecting the rights of children;
  • Social and psychological support;
  • Educational and professional development;
  • Assistance with material aid and emotional support in cases of illness and/or violence perpetrated early in life; and
  • Engaging the local community to solve problems associated with orphaned and at-risk children.
Additional priorities of the organization include helping graduates find jobs and/or complete higher education, as well as, providing resources to support them during their period of adaptation into society and life on their own.
